Dr. Clark has a blog post entitled Coffee and Gluten Sensitivity – Surprising News. I have not looked into it and I do not know about the validity of the research, but it makes sense in my experience (at least, it’s a plausible connection from what I’ve experienced; it might explain what I noticed in giving up coffee).

Interesting! But what about Raja’s Cup or Organo Gold. They are coffee substitutes. Thanks!

I do not know about either of those, so I could not say. Sorry! But if they do not cause any bad reactions, why not drink them, if you want to?

Besides which, Dr. Matt Lalonde says, at 55:35 of an interview by the insightful Chris Kresser, that the cross-sensitivity claim comes from only one lab. No wonder I could not find much on it when I did some short, quick Google searches. Seems the claim is a correlation or unproven hypothesis, not a causal statement, right now.

I like coffee a lot, but if I have to…I give it up! It is not like… you have to give up your child!!
